Vampire Attack

In a vampire attack, a new project takes advantage of an existing project's audience by creating an identical or similar enough copy of the current project's features while offering more favorable cryptoeconomic incentives to users. This way, a project can bypass the often lengthy and expensive process of developing a product market fit. Instead, they can quickly attract a large user base but may harm the original project. The new project may directly acknowledge its relationship to the cloned project via its branding, marketing, or documentation.
