Paper Wallet

A paper wallet is a cold storage wallet whereby the private keys are recorded on paper or other physical media such as steel.

Since paper wallets store keys offline, they are considered relatively secure if stored and printed correctly, taking adequate security precautions. For example, generating a new mnemonic seed phrase for a paper wallet would ideally be performed on a virus-free computer disconnected from the internet using reputable open-source software.
