Gas Token

A gas token is a cryptoasset used to pay a blockchain network's block producers to include a given transaction in a block.

A particular blockchain's gas is the specific cryptoasset native to the network used to pay for transaction processing, such as Ether (ETH) on the Ethereum blockchain. On Ethereum, gas is consumed in bits called gwei, which are equal to 0.000000001 ETH.
