Mixing or tumbling, in the context of cryptoassets, refers to hiding or obfuscating a given cryptoasset's transaction history to anonymize the original owner. Mixing as a term and concept is relatively general and can refer to a range of techniques and methods, many of which are quite different in their design and technology.
