Private Sale

A private sale is a token-based fundraising event that involves the permissioned sale of cryptoassets to private investors–typically institutions and accredited investors–rather than the general public. Terms of private sales are negotiated directly between investors and project representatives, and the sale of equity to investors often accompanies such events. Private sales often precede public token distribution events, including initial coin offerings.
