Client (Software)
A client, in computing and in the context of a 'Client & Server architecture', refers to the system used to access information stored on another system, known as the 'server'. These terms are not exclusive and depend on context; i.e., a client can be a server, and a server can also be a client. For example, when Alice uses a laptop to log in to a website, Alice and her laptop are acting as the client, and the website is acting as the server.
