Blockchain-based System

A blockchain-based system is any system that uses a blockchain in some form and can include protocols, networks, applications, and more. The term is general and may be used in place of more specific terminology where the latter is not relevant. Blockchain-based systems can consist of many, often interconnected, components such as networks, blockchains, protocols, storage layers, frontends, and other infrastructure and middleware layers.
