Block Reward

A block reward is a reward paid to a block producer for successfully adding a block to a blockchain. The block reward will typically include a subsidy payment, referred to as the block subsidy, which is paid for via new issuance and denominated in the blockchain's native asset, as well as any fees accrued from the block's transactions.
