March 3, 2020 US prosecutors have filed to seize crypto asset exchange accounts compromised by North Korean hackers.

The US government has filed a federal suit, attempting to seize 113 different crypto asset exchange accounts tied to North Korean hackers. The hacks, that took place throughout 2018, have allegedly amounted to over $250 million in stolen assets. Both regular users and notably, the CEOs of exchanges were the targets of an extensive phishing campaign that primarily focused on South Korean exchanges.
