September 5, 2019 TFA Labs receives a $200k grant from the U.S. Department of Energy to trial an IoT power grid security project that uses the Factom blockchain.

The Factom blockchain, intended to serve as a data layer and operated as a ‘Blockchain-as-a Service’ data management solution for enterprises, will be used by TFA Labs to store raw data. Factom released a new generation of its Harmony platform in June, and TFA Labs revealed in April that its ‘Signed at Source’ IoT solution would work with the Factom blockchain.
