May 11, 2020 Telegram agrees to disclose additional financial and communications data to the SEC.

The messaging platform, Telegram, will hand over relevant information concerning the company’s blockchain project, Telegram Open Network, to the SEC following the regulator’s discovery requests, dating back to February 4. Such information will include bank records, communications, and other data according to a Friday court filing. In addition, the company will respond to questions concerning already disclosed bank records and reveal whether it has distributed assets to pre-sale investors. The results follow an agreement between the SEC and Telegram on May 7.
