Cryptoasset service provider Crypto.com has acquired the naming rights for the venue currently known as Staples Center, which hosts the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers. Beginning on December 25th, 2021, the stadium will be called Crypto.com Arena. In a similar move earlier this year, cryptoasset exchange FTX acquired the naming rights to the stadium that hosts the Miami Heat.
