October 28, 2019 Linux, Dell, and IOTA to collaboratively rate data’s trustworthiness.

The partnership, Project Alvarium aims to realize the concept of a ‘Data Trust Fabric’ (DC) so “…to facilitate measurable trust and confidence in data and applications spanning heterogeneous systems.” The project seeks community involvement in defining the algorithms to be used in measuring data’s confidence score. Speaking on the project’s ambitions, Dell Technologies IoT CTO Jason Shepherd remarked “By creating the industry’s first method to deliver data with measurable confidence, we will fundamentally change how individuals, businesses, non-profit organizations, and government entities alike manage, share, and monetize their data efficiently at scale, all while maintaining privacy on terms they establish.” There will be a live demo of the DCF at the IoT Solutions World Congress October 29th – 31st.
