The cryptoasset investment firm, Grayscale has reported that it raised $503.7 million in Q1 2020. The new figures now mean that the company has $2.2 billion in assets under management (AUM) and represent a sharp increase in quarterly inflows, with a total of $600 million having been raised across the whole of 2019 and the latest figures representing a $248.9 million increase over the firm’s previous all-time high raise of $254.8 million in Q3 2019. According to its report, institutional clients accounted for 88% of the $503.7 million raise with hedge funds constituting the majority of said clients.
