March 19, 2020 Decentralized storage network provider, Storj Labs launches its new cloud service.

The decentralized storage network provider Storj Labs has launched its new decentralized cloud storage service, Tardigrade. The service is available to both enterprises and individuals, and currently has 19 petabytes of available capacity with 3,000 users. Storj’s co-founder, Shawn Wilkinson stated that the service operates at approximately 50% of the price of centralized cloud services and that the network imposes no bandwidth limits, theoretically allowing for unlimited storage. Storj Labs has raised a total of $35.4M and launched a private alpha version of its network in August 2018.
